Aerial Hoop / Pole Fitness Instructor
Ricia Coleman has been teaching in the dance industry since she graduated in Dance Studies with a BA Honours degree in 2006. She went on to form the Cascade Dance Company in 2007 where she specialises in Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet dance.
In 2007 Ricia gained a YMCA Exercise to Music qualification and went on to complete her Ballet Fitness unit in 2008. Ricia discovered a passion for Pole dance in 2007 and in 2008 began to teach Pole Fitness Classes.
Ricia has full Public Liability insurance and is CRB checked.
In Aerial Hoop classes students will learn beautiful manoeuvres and shapes while spinnin on a large metal hoop suspended in the air. Beginners start off learning the basics of spinning and the basic ways to get up and down onto the hoop. Once comfortable with this, they will progress onto harder and more advanced moves.
It is recommended that you are comfortable inverting on a pole before attending this class, but not essential as the class is still suitable for complete beginners. We have a maximum of eight students to this class.
The class will begin with a thorough warm up and be completed with a cool down. We advise students to wear suitable clothing for the Aerial Hoop classes: it is important to have skin covered, for example leggings, leotard, long sleeved top and socks.

Pole Twist classes are open to all, regardless of experience. The classes focus on the fitness element of Pole, in a fun and relaxing environment.
Come and experience an all over fitness workout, tone your body and burn calories. Classes focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination and stamina.
6 Week Courses - Mondays
Time: 7:15pm onwards
Learn the basic steps and spins. - No experience required at this level.
Mixed Level Class
Previous experience required. Teaching includes spins and aerial pole. The class focuses on the individual's personal level and is open to all.

What To Wear
For health and safety reasons it is necessary to wear shorts and to keep arms and feet bare to allow for better grip and ensure safe use of the pole. Please bring trainers, high heels (optional) and a bottle of water!
